What you should know about Campus Creche
Campus Creche is a not for profit community based centre, located on the University of Waikato grounds, providing a service to the general public as well as University staff and students. We were established in 1973 as a parent co operative and over the years Creche has grown from a small centre to a large organisation with five centres catering for children aged 3 months to 6 years. Each centre has an individual style as they specialise in working with specific age groups. We believe children can benefit in a very positive way from their experiences in early childhood education and care
Group Time will begin back up again from the week first 13 February and Ngahere Explorers the week after.
Please make safe children have at minimum two changes of clothes as we enter water play time. We would also like to extend a very huge Welcome back! We welcome back all our tamariki and Ch nab from their holiday and we hope that everyone had a wonderful break. We have been joining up with Maine to visit the Arboretum and the tamariki have enjoyed exploring the environment and building friendships with Maine’s teachers and tamariki. It is pretty to see how the older children of Group Time encourage our fresh children.
The weather has been tropical’ recently so we have had lots of water play for the children. These programmed provide very exciting learning experiences for our tamariki. educ is a prized tool for us to use to share your child’s learning and development, with not only the immediate Ch nab, but also your child’s extended Ch nab. It’s a special time and the children really love having an opportunity to share Creche with you, their Ch nab. A lot of our tamariki are visiting it for the first time and we fair love watching them explore this new environment and all it has to offer. End month was a busy one with all our tamariki and their Ch nab returning from their holidays.
We look forward to getting to know you and active together in partnership with you and your Ch nab. Your children have all stable very healthy and are busy exploring and getting to know teachers and other children. Thank you to all our Ch nab who came, trips are a immense time to get to know each other better. We wish all our children leaving all the very best for their learning at school and look forward to getting to know our fresh children and their families over their time with us
