The Guitar Studio is run by Ian McL aughlin with over 20 years experience as a professional guitar tutor and motivator. My focus here at the Guitar studio is to constantly strive to deliver a better way of learning to you the student. As musicians, the answers and solutions to the challenges we face as a beginner or an advanced player exist in our ability to Identify adapt and overcome those challenges using a self sustaining system. Ian is the founder and chief tutor at the Guitar studio, Ian lives in Hamilton NZ with his wife and 2 boys.
Combining my understanding of the neurological process and sounds principals that work to get your hands and fingers moving gracefully across your instrument. Expand your mindset to deal with difficulties, develop strategies and solutions to keep you moving forward. There is always a solution, if someone else has played it, then it is playable. As a result of Hans teaching, we are able to have two rock bands in our school and have 56 students learning guitar! Yes he helps me grasp music and the guitar but more importantly he helps to learn about and comprehend myself.
When learning fresh songs, techniques and ideas he’s perpetual quick to confess what I’m doing well and shows tolerance and accepting with any difficulties I’m having. Yes he helps me grasp music and the guitar but more importantly he helps to learn about and grasp myself.
