The Gardens School provides pliable learning space for 700 primary age students. The addition is designed as a distinct form to the clever house, but maintains a connection through scale, texture and color. moan were engaged to refurbish the Hamilton Junior Tall School technology block to make it more qualified to contemporary teaching methods. The proposal reconnects the site with its inherent instinctive assets to transform the event facility into a regional, national and international events center.
The interior layout of the house was simplified and extended to create a large living space that opens onto the private backyard. In addition to providing office space for 20 staff a number of formal and casual meeting spaces have been created.
