What you should know about KT Design
Our studio is not bound by constraints we will mold our creativity to perfectly portray your vision. Furthermore, we pride ourselves on maintaining strategic, innovative, and consistent graphic design in all aspects of our work. We enjoy the process of transformation from complex information to effective, captivating and user friendly designs. We work with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large corporations, and have created the most effective graphic design and marketing ideas for them, making the overall experience as effortless as possible.
I then developed a passion for graphic design and went out on my own in 2001, creating KT Design. I have spent these past years building up a strong client base and an excellent team of talented staff. I am creative and passionate about all aspects of design and have always enjoyed an acute sense of visual aesthetics. I believe that good work ethic and building strong relationships with our clients is the key to ensuring a successful collaboration on any projects undertaken.
I love the fact that my work is my hobby, and that the team, the working environment and clients we have here are exceptional!. As for my graphic design background after completing the Bachelor of Media Arts degree at Wintec in 2005, I worked as a print and motion graphics designer with Opus International Consultants , a global engineering consultancy firm. Prior to all of the above, I have worked as a photographer, picture framer, and in accounts for Hamilton City Buses now Go Bus . During this time I gained valuable experience in brand identity, consistency and creativity. I joined the KT Design team at the beginning of 2012, and it has been great working in a creative environment with other talented designers.
After my contract was up I moved to Mount Maunganui where I worked for two years at a small boutique agency. These agencies gave me great experience working on a vast range of projects including branding, print, layout projects and web design. I started at KT Design in 2014 as I wanted to work with other creative people like myself, and I’m loving every minute of it!. Outside of work I enjoy going out and socialising with family and friends, travelling and exploring, keeping fit, collecting vintage and secondhand goods, hanging with my cat Ollie and drinking great coffee and wine!. Over the last three years, I have worked in a number of different capacities, including catalogue media, report layout, digital illustration, and studio photography.
