Bk, I’ve rated the service, venue, support, courtesy van for guests to get home and photo opportunity spots exterior gate, shed, trees etc as 5 star. Once a member at the Glen view Club we present reciprocal visiting rights to many other chartered clubs throughout New Zealand. Of course, for us, indoors was the ONLY option thanks to the stormy frigid fore that came thou BUT, we were allowed to bring in tree branches and all manner of strange things to create what the bride and groom wanted to be surrounded by for their ceremony.
All members and visitors are welcome to play the Gaming Machines, all visitors must ensure that they are signed into the club earlier to commencing on the gaming machines. The Riverview has held functions from 21st’s, work functions, presentations, conferences, weddings, family functions and much more. The peacocks Restaurant is a newly redecorated and fully functional dine in style restaurant. Everyone from the manager who was amazingly accommodating, prohibit staff who had their own difficulties but didn’t let it effect our experience, kitchen crew, and even the cleaners who came the next day to tidy up EVERYONE helped build an wonderful event at an affordable price.
You are also welcome to use the club facilities which include a bar, TAB and gaming machines. We donate our Sub club members and visitors a cordial outlet where men and women can face in comfortable surroundings to play social or competitive 8 balls. Also on Thursday, Friday and Saturday the club operates a small club van which can safely transport you to and from the club from 4pm inwards. On Double up evening 2 excess important Meat Packs for the Winners with no runner up prizes given out. We have a packed size outdoor bowling green with clubhouse facilities owned and operated by the Glen view Club.
Tournaments are held throughout the year at our club and affiliated clubs for those members who wish to play competitively. Children are allowed in all areas of the main forbid except the TAB and gaming area
