What you should know about Gateway Christian Centre
Hope and her husband, Chris, moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2013 and joined our staff team, after visiting Gateway many times over the years. They have been portion of Gateway for eight years and love that we have core values at Gateway which guide how we live out our lives valuing people first, then authenticity, integrity and vulnerability. This Sunday, Don will be continuing the Isaiah series in the Morning Gathering, and One God, One Story, One People, in the Evening Gathering. There are a number of people involved with the leading and day to day running of Gateway.
Donald has been a portion of Gateway for nearly 20 years and prior joining our staff team he studied civil engineering. He and his wife, Hope, moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2013 and joined our staff team, after visiting Gateway many times over the years. They like walking, being with family and friends and spending time gardening. We’d love to see what we do move forward, grow and express more and more the love of God. Chris loves people, having the opportunity to be involved in their lives and getting to know their journey and story.
In her spare time, Sylvia likes to discard time with family and friends, read a appropriate book and walk on the beach. If you are a young person at Gateway between the ages of 13 to 24 years, we have Connected Groups for you too. Prayer is what connects us to our God, the giver of life and all good things. She loves having the opportunity to engage in huge conversations with young people from all walks of life, as well as seeing them engage in worship. We want people who are a part of Gateway to be resolute of the value of, and who are developing in, a life of responsive praise and worship of God. ’. Gateway’s heart is to release each person into the mission God has called them into.
Erin wants to see young children learn about God through interaction with Kingdom Team members, play, prayer, Bible stories and worship to help them understand that they are loved by God and crucial to Him. Victor and Judy love the Betel ministry because it takes those people and makes them pastors, leaders, respected business people, who in turn minister to the lost and unloved. Executive Leader Chris is piece of the Gateway Leadership Team and is our Executive Pastor. Sylvia loves that she has the opportunity to meet so many people and spend time with them. Jana ya is also a trained primary school teacher and in her spare time, when not on mum duty, she likes to run, enjoys a good girls night out or spending time at the beach.
Gateway Church is an self-reliant Pentecostal church located in the heart of Hamilton city. They have been part of Gateway for eight years and love that we have core values at Gateway which guide how we live out our lives valuing people first, then authenticity, integrity and vulnerability. We want people who are a segment of Gateway to be people who are growing in their knowledge of, and in obedience to, the Word of God, the Bible. Hope is the leader of the Team and is also portion of the Gateway Leadership Team
