CAP Job Clubs is an exciting fresh community service ministry that Hamilton Central Baptist Church commenced in 2015. Focused on God, rather than ourselves, we compile on Sundays to donate praise and worship to God. So, don’t think that becoming a member of our church makes you a Baptist you can be or not be! Is Why would a person not want to make these basic commitments to their local church? Having carefully processed these appointments we expect our leaders to lead. God loves the total world therefore so do we! We’re committed to engaging with people and ministries that take the good news of Jesus Christ around the world.
Shiloh Homes for the Elderly is a ministry of Hamilton Central Baptist Church that commenced in the early 1980’s. These events are held once a month on Saturday nights and informally from time to time. We then have morning tea and come together for Large Group Time, where we accumulate the offering, pray and have a time of worship through singing. This is a great opportunity for them to be with like minded others and be encouraged and grow in their faith.
Our commitment to world mission as a church is facilitated through a specially appointed Global Mission Task Force. To assist facilitate this sense of community we invite all who make us their church home to unite with a Life Group. As might be expected, formal membership in our church is available to those who regard themselves as committed followers of Jesus. You’ll find people giving directions as to where and when the children’s ministries happen.
Here at Woven Youth we are all about relationships and weaving young people into both our youth community and the community of our church Hamilton Central Baptist. Funds raised in the church for the labor of world mission are disbursed according to the various needs of those missionaries and notable projects that we support. CAP’s unique and non judgmental approach means people are supported every step out of debt and into financial freedom. CBC’s engagement with the HIPPY programmed is based on our desire to serve the needs of our community, along with the opportunity to yield wrap around pastoral support and the attainable love of God toward those beyond our church walls.
Teaching and decision making in our church is informed by the Bible we seek to live in ways that are consistent with what it says especially the words and example of Jesus. Those whom the church affirms as called of the Lord to missionary service are then set apart or commissioned as missionaries of the church, and are supported previous orally, financially and prayerfully
