We are a multi disciplinary practice offering tailored consultancy services across Architecture , Engineering , Land Development and Project Management. Our success has grown from our ability to combine skillsets and ensures our work is practical, sustainable and cost effective.
Drawing upon deep layers of expertise to understand how we can add value to existing and new ideas, our point of difference is our people. We constantly integrate our services and develop our capabilities which, when balanced by the latest project management technology, results in highly creative solutions for built and outdoor environments. Recently we expanded our services offering through the acquisition of, and collaboration with, Bioresearches Group Ltd. Bioresearches offers consulting biologist services in specialist ecology and environmental consultancy. First Office Faram and Babbage's first office located in Auckland’s Shortland Street.
Bridge and Road Construction Much of Faram and Babbage’s work consists of building roads and designing bridges. Clevedon Wharf Bridge Babbage assists in the construction of Clevedon Wharf Bridge. At Babbage sustainability is built in to each project we engage with from the design phase onward. Sustainability buildings that provide high quality spaces and welcoming environments is about more than just being green . Everyone at Babbage is focused on delivering the best possible sustainable outcomes for our clients on every project we’re involved with.
Whenever possible we build using materials and methodologies that will have the lowest impact on the environment. The carboNZero programme was established in 2001 and is based on a wealth of data around the impacts of climate change, greenhouse gas and carbon. Babbage was the first multi discipline building consultancy to achieve CarboNZero certification in New Zealand and as such we are committed to managing and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions through an active management programme of work. We bring the knowledge and understanding we've achieved through the carboNZero programme to bear on all our projects, no matter how big or small the job. The best award is for a client to be so pleased with the project they book you for their next big thing on the spot, but we also occasionally enter peer judged awards.
